erally appeared to be timid at the mo
ment aia prefer to twait developments
before le-entering the market in an

Offerings increased on very slight
bulges, however, and the market be
came morp active later in the morning
with prices'- selling 'about. 30 to 88
points below' last night's close under
rather aggreBsive pressure, from, local
