This newest product of the Oakland designers is literally a revolution
in completeness, comfort, roominess and all that makes for motor
car satisfaction. The new features are mainly in the body and
they are practical, comfort-adding features.
Four wide free swinging doors afford easy access to front and rear
compartments. All windows can be easily lowered or raised by con
venient regulators. The front seat is extra wide and deep one-piece
construction, and heavily upholstered to stand the extra wear the
driving seat receives.
The rear seat, too, is big almost like a Davenport couch. The
interior throughout is exceptionally spacious and inviting to ease
furnished in fine automobile cloth. Dome light, silk curtains, an
unobtrusive heater, etc., speak for the attention to details that count.
It is by far the finest car we have ever been able to offer.
You can't afford not to look it over.
The Oakland is distinguished for its quality construction, lasting serv
ice, moderate price and low upkeep.
Some of Oakland Superior Mechanical Features include: .
Jacox Steering Wheel; West & Mott Axles; Marvel Carburetor; Nortlf
way Valve-in-head Motor; Forced Feed Oiling through hollow crank
shaft; Remy tui-tmit Starting and Lighting System; Dyer Window
Lift; McCord Radiator; (Wire Wheels extra); etc.
Always remember, too, it is backed by the Z. S. Vertner
Motor Sales Co. absolute guarantee service policy.

'HE study of music should form nn integral part of every one's
education. It is possible to go through life without n knowl
edge of music. It is also possible to go through life without a
knowledge of literature, science and art, but who can estimnto tho
tremendous loss to one who lacks such knowledge? True success in
life means the true development of every faculty. In the social
program of civilization there is no room for "wall-flowers." The per
son of accomplishments is the one sought out and is the one who is of
tho most service to his fellows. Fathers and mothers who fail to
encourage their sons and daughters to become accomplished arc not
only depriving them of much of the joy and pleasure of life, but
are seriously limiting their opportunities for a successful life.
Because of its distinguished faculty, original methods, individ
ual instruction, high ideals, breadth of culture and moderate cost,
combined with modern and cfllcient management, tho Combs Con
servatory affords opportunities not obtainable elsewhere for a sound
musical training.
