only a few hundred persons hac availed

Without setting forth particulars the
fifth ward policemen claimed the Su
perior Court had contravened its own
decisions nnd the decisions of the Su
pieme Court in passing upon points of
law. The convicted men are Itennett,
"Wirtsrhafter, Murphj, Uram, feldmau
and Hayden
The Supreme Court may dismiss the
appeal on its own view of the petition
and answer or summon the policemen's
attorney, William A. ftray, and Pis
triet Attorney Ilotun to make oral argu
ments, or it may grant the appeal with
out further argument.
