"OPHIR"
The United States Shipping Board proposes to sell to the,
highest bidder the S.S. "OPHIR," formerly of 3pttj "
dam, Lloyd Line, damaged by fire last November; ale to
include Hull, Engines, Boilers and Equipment as a whole.
The easel is now open for inspection at Gibraltar.
A deposit of 207o of the amount of the bid is requiied as
security for payment of the balance within one month frbm--
date of acceptance of bid, which deposit will.be forfeited in
the event of failure to pay such balance within time stated.,
Deposits are to be made with the Disbursing Officer, Ignited .
States Naval Base, Gibraltar; and may be cash or certified '
check, which may accompany bids or be handed to said '
officer at or before time of opening bids. "
All bids aie to bp made in United States Gold Coin, and
must be enclosed In a sealed envelope addressee! to Dis
bursing Officer, United States Naval Base, Gibraltar.! and
marked "Sealed Bid for S.S. OPHIR." . t
Bids are to be opened at 10 A. M., June 15, 1919, at'the'
U. S. Naval Base, Gibraltar. '
The Board reserves the right to reject any anff all bids.
