Toward $10,000 Goal
The Ir.sdowno memorial fund com
mittee announced today It had obtained
J52Q0 toward Its $10,000 fund for tho
erection of a memorial to the 260 Lnns
aowne men who entered tho service dur-
Inir the war.

the movement Is wide
spread both among the families of thos6
who were in the service and other mem
bers of the community. The memorial
Is to taltn tho form of four bronie street
lamps to bo erected nt the corner of
Mnsdownd and Baltimore avenues. On
tho lamps will be tablets containing the
names of those who gave their lives and
of those vho went Into the service.
The attractive nature of these me
morials has already resulted In other
places following tho example of the
Lansdowne committee. Clifton Heights
will have a similar memorial. N'ext week
