Thomas White introduced a bill In the
HouFe of Commons here today to pro
vide for the Issue of a new one-cent
piece much smaller than the present
coin of thnt denomination.
The present cent piece Is about the
size of a United States twentv-flve cent
piece and eighty of them weigh a pound.
The new coin will he about the slz
of the United States cent, weighing fifty
grains and running 140 to the pound.
