delphia and vicinity In the report.
There are no city men on the death
list today. One man from Camden. Pri.
fate Charles Thompson, 425 Market
street, who was originally reported miss
ing, Is now declared to have been killed
In action.
Of the city men one Is wounded se
verely, twenty-flve wounded slightly and
eighteen wounded with degree undeter
mined. Three who jvero reported mlcs
inc from their units have been accounted
for. Two of these are still in hospitals.

The name of Private Edmond Szczd
pakewlcz, 2662 Westmoreland street,
wounded severely In the right side Octo
ber 2, appears in today's report. His
wife, Mrs. Anna Szczdpakewicz, has re
ceived letters from her husband confirm,
in the War Department report She
married the soldier the day ha entered
the service and left for camp, ten months
neo. He Is thirty-five years old and
before Joining the colors was a morocco
worker. According to letters home he
has nearly recovered and expects to sail
for home soon.
Two Others Gassed In Action
Private Charles A. Vaughn, 118 Pas
lorlun street, Germantown, a member
nf 120th Infantry, gassed in the Ar
srorno sector November 4, has returned
to his unit, according- to Information re-

that on the morning of November 4 the
boche used an "ocean" of gas and that
hi got a tate ot it. "At first the dose
was so light that It didn't stop me."

Corporal William Mulvejr, one of the
men reported wounded today, was gassed
five days before the armistice, but has
recovered. He Is attached to Company
