Asphalts the Undisputed Leaders While today's trade on the Philadelphia Stock Exchange assumed fairly; large proportions, several .weak spots developed and the close showed, with few exceptions, quotations that were unchanged from yesterday, although taking the market as a whole, there was evidence of a trend toward higher prices. ' Qeneral Asphalt, both the common and the preferred, wcro the undis puted leaders. Tho preferred had a good run during the morning, and, start ing at 99, advanced by steady gains to 10114, but In later trading failed to hold the advance. The common opened at C7U, soon moving up to 6S and then receded. There was also fair activity in tho ttust certificates of the Philadelphia. Rapid Transit Company, which held about steady throughout the entire day. Philadelphia Electric and Union Traction were out In small lots and were unchanged. Only two of the railroad group, Lehigh Valley and Pennsylvania, were quoted, neither developing anything of Interest, The bond list was more than ordinarily active, but changes in price were Inconsequential, NEW YORK COFFEE MARKET New York, Feb. 14.
