COMMUNITY HUT OPENED
Hivcrton, N. J., First to Establish
House for. Service Men
Moro than 300 persona attended tho
opening of tho Communltv Hut (it IUv
erton, N. J., Inst night. Six rooms and
a kitchen on the first floor, a ilnnca hall
and two anterooms on the Bccond floor
and the pool and billiard room In tho
basement were thrown open for the use
of BOldlers and sailors returning from
service.
It Is tho first Community Hut for re
turned men In tho country, and Sec
retary Qeonre Clark today said efforts
would bo made to establish them In com
munities In all parts of the United

secretary at Camp Dlx, was tho speaker
last nlffht. The hut will be open every
Tuesday night, but later may be open on
other nights during tho week.
