New Yorlt, April 25.
Trading on the Mock cxchaiiRc showed llttlo chantro from Hint of

There was concentrated buying in Distillers, which rose 2 points to

clnl weakness In American Telephone, which declined l1. to S8',4.
Humors about a coming dividend on American Cun Induced' specu
lative buying, which carried the price of stock up from 43',i to 44?i.
International Paper, after advancing 1 point to 41 U. reacted to 4016.
The strength displayed In specialties was In most cases due to pool
activities followed by traders' buying, but commlssoln house business
wns small, the tendency prevailing to wait for favorable news from Trance
und for the completion of the Liberty Loan subscription.
There was little evidence of liquidation of actual holdings even In the
stocks which showed a weak tone. The mass of security holders continu
ing confident of the outlook, and although buying orders were scarce,
selling orders were equally so.
