The Kaiser's Workinsrman
and Uncle Sam's
In Germany labor is a slave to the Kaiser and the military gang. Labor is
driven at the point of the bayonet to do the tyrants' will. The workers in
the factories, the mines and the shipyards are compelled to work. If they
resist, they face the firing squad. 'x

Free workingmen of America, rise in your
might and defy the Kaiser! Let him feel the
knuckles of your hard American fists!
Buy Liberty Bonds! Buy all you can swing!
A dollar a week will buy one bond in less
than a year. Make yourself afford more if
you can then leave the rest to Uncle Sam.

There is immediate and urgent need for every dollar you can spare. You
are only lending not .giving your money. Your Government guarantees
the return of your money with interest. If you cannot buy more than
one Liberty Bond, buy that one!' The Time to Act Is Now!
