The robbery xva discovered by
policeman cf the Nln-teentl, and Oxford ,
streets station shortly before 9 o'clock
last night. Ills attention was attracted
by a back door of the Horner residence,
which had been almost tf.ru from Its
hinges. The thieves, according to the
police must have carried tho loot from
the house through the back entrance.
The Horner home extends back from
Uroad street to Carllalo street. It is
believed the thieves placed their auto
truck If one was used at the Carlisle
j street entrance and then entered the

When policemen reached the house
they found the place had been ransacked
from the fourth floor down to the base
ment. The detective sergeant xvas noti

the case. No clew has been found to the
robbers.
Mr, Horner and his family have been
living at Malvern, Delaware County.
When Mr. Horner heard of the robbery
he hurried to the house. I
