United States Steel, which was thrown on the market In large blocks
in yesterday's trading, was one of the strongest feature- today, advancing
more than 2 points to 9"'.i, with other Mccl Industrials up from 1 to 3
points.

Following general selling at the out

1 strength at Minneapolis and compara

covered. Heavy liquidation by commls.
