has been edopted by the board of man
agers of the Kew Tork Coffee Exchange
Placing restrictions on tho writers of
circulars. The resolution which was
adopted reads: "In accordance with the
promise the committee which recent
ly went io Washington to consult
with the food administration desires
to notify all the members of the ex
change that any circulars or publica
tions ot any kind which may be Issued
hereafter containing matter tending In
any way to increase the price of coffee
or to encourage outside speculation will
he construed as In violation of section
4 of our by-laws and punished accord
