A feature of the trading was another violent advance In American Tobacco, which rose nearly 10 points to 165, bringing Its price back tu above the level prevailing when It was first proposed to Issue new stock. The Mexican stocks wero nctlve and strong also, with buying of those Issues based to an extent on a confident belief that operations of American-owned properties over the border will be protected to tho full extent from now on.
