"We manufactured 51 000 000 cubic
feet of gas during the twenty four hours
ending at 6 o'clock last n ght," he said,
"by far the tuatest amount we have

"The b ggest consumption In a single
day on our records was that of GO, 280,
000 cubic feet from G o'clock In the
morning to 10 o'clock at night on 'Wed
nesday, December S. This demand was
due to the shortage ot coal."
