Tho guest of honor this tlmo will bo Miss
Constanco Collier, who Is no v playing in
"Peter Ibbetson." Tho tea will bo held
.from 4 until 5:30 o'clock on Friday after
noon. Won't it bo interesting to meet her?
DID you happen to bo lunching nt tho
Green Dragon Tea Iloom on Saturday
between tho hours of one and threo? If so,
Lyou must have been awaro of tho fact that
tho girls of Camp Iroquois, under tho
chaperonago of Dr. Ann Tomklns Gibson,
director of- tho camp, and threo of last
years counselors were there, having n re
union. Not that they were noisy ut till,
for has not Camp Iroquois gained tho repu
tation if being nn unusually well-mannered
carnp7 But then, of course, this is only
natural, comprising as it does, u mot-t at
tractive lot of girls, ranging from eight to
eighteen years, from all along tho Main
2ne, Germantown and Chestnut Hill. And
this doesn't mean, cither, that they nro
mado to sit up liko perfect llttlo ladles all
the time, with knitting qulto tho opposite.
Tho entiro aim of tho camp Is to glvo tho
girls, a healthy, happy summer, by encour
aging all kinds of 'athletics, particularly
walking, and tho success of their cffortH
was certainly proved by tho way In which
the older girls climbed to 'tho top of Mount
"Washington last year. Illght hero I might
add, for tho benefit of fhoso whoso mem
ories concerning certain geographical de
tails may bo somewhat rusty that tho
height of said mountain Is C500 feet. Be
sides this they wcro taught swimming,
paddling and all water sports under tho In
struction of Betty Dallas (head counselor)
and Isabel GIttlngs, whllo Mary Tyler had
chargo of tho basketball, tennis, archery
and baseball. Tho last week that' wcro
thero they gave a play and operetta, under
the supervision of Betty Delias, stage
manager, and Dorothy Dlnsmorc, musical
counselor, and their attempts, both vocally
and histrionically, wcro most successful.
For tho reunion they engaged a. private
room upstairs In tho tea room, and pos
elbly ycu heard fragments of camp bongs
that may liavo floated to tho main dining
room downstairs. After luncheon they saw
movie. ,
A few of. tho girls who couldn't get thero
