Declines Noted in Curb Offerings
Tho Broad street curb market has followed closely in tho wako of tho
Stock Exchange during the current decline, and prices for homo of the repre
sentative issues show appreciable declines. .
Conspicuous weak fiaturcs havo been tho Standard OH securities, which aro
selling 50 to 70 points under tho high point of tho month, with Standard Oil
of New Yor., Standard Oil of New Jersey and Ohio Oil Company leaders of
tho downward trend. Tho price of Wright-Martin Aircraft stock, which advanced
to about $12 a sharo on the announcementrecently that General Goelhala had
been elected president of tho company, is now selling 4 points tinder this mark,
and Curtlss Aeroplane t-s down about 0 points from its recent high.
Murlln Arms, one of tho most stable of curb issues, has declined approxi
mately 4 points and is quoted around 105, although tho company is doing a largo
business. Aetna Explosives, a leading powder stock, is bol z quoted under a
