The boosters' committee of the first, second
and third districts held a meeting In the Park

ndlcatlng that the mcmlers were taking hold of
the work with more zeal and ambition than
ever before. The chairman announced that tho
Y. M. C. A. has a movement under wnv to en.
operate with tha Orand Lodge of the I. O. O. F.
In furnishing the meotfers of the order in the
service of the Governnu nt with n Testament or
small Bible. In whl 't there Is a place for the
official receipt of the Odd Fellows lodge. This
was to be carried as n means of Identification
P. O. Shuman holds another Idea In reference
to a means of Identification for the enlisted
brother and is awaiting Instructions from the
grand master before this committee can con

Chairman Shuman submitted an elalorate
filan br which each of the eighteen lodges In
hesa districts will visit each other during tho
winter for tha purpose of maintaining a closer

to be Instructed In the unwritten work of the
order by the district deputy grand masters of
tha three districts nnd psssed on to the mem
bers of the tndlvldaal lodges. These brothers
will constitute an Instruction committee, wMeh
will Instruct snd examine all candidates before
advancing In the various degrees. The district
deputy grand masters will constitute the board
In the school of Instruction, it was decided that
