only taking a limited amount of business.

fine granulated 25 points to 8.75c and the
Federal advanced Its price the same amount.
Shipments are subject to two or three weeks'
delay.
Sugar Futures Steady
NEW YOItK, Aug. 0 There was a very
steady opening In sugar futures, first prices
being unchanged to an advance of 6 points,
with most of the strength shown In the near
positions. The sharp advance In refined
sugar caused a little covering by outside

out selling pressure of any kind, the offer
ings being scarce and from scattered
sources. Sales on the call amounted to 550
tons.
