two' months, died early taday at tils .home

until two weeks ago that he was confined
to bed, He was a Republican In politics,
but was elected Mayor by the unanimous
votf of a. mixed Council to succeed the late
Dr. E. S, Meals, who also died In office,
Mayor Miller was city clerk xf. Harris

was a recognized authority on municipal
