1 Go to the local board and get or copy
from 1B3 or 164 for filing your claim of
appeal.
2 Get or copy also form 151 or 152
for notifying the district board of appeal.
3 File your claim of appeal (153 or
154) with the local board.
4 Send your notice of nppeal (form 151
or 152) to the district board.

Remember You can only appeal the final
order of the board exempting or discharg
ing or refusing to exempt or discharge.

additional to that filed by you In the local
board, but all such evidence must consist
of affidavits.
14 DECISIONS ON APrEAL. The de
cision on your appeal must bo mado within
five days of the closing of proof and you

Many Hours of Hard Work
The locnl exemption boards are making
a determined effort to get their official
lists of names of men subject to draft
on tholr way to Washington todiy All
hut five of the boards had sent their lists
ti Washington early today, and the ro
malnlng hope to have their lists In the
mall before night
All members of the boards were fairly
exhausted from the effort of keeping their
own businesses going and nt the same time
overseeing the preparation of the lists
Kvery card had to be stamped and signed
by one of the members of the board after
It svas given tho serial number ordered by
tho Government This meant hours of
laborious work Then tho names, numbers
and addresses wero copied onto the lists
by typists nnd afterward tho board mem
birs had to go over each one personally
to make sure that there were no errors In
spelling or numbering
Among the board which expect to com
plete their lists today are Nos 51. 20, 21
25 and fi Andrew C ICeeles, chairman
of No 21, has experienced his ahnre of
the difficulties going with war draft One
of the members of his hoard refused to
accept the draft position, owing to the
fact that he could not lenvo hi business,
nnd Dr Deacon Mclnmctz was forced to
leavo town on professional business, so

fell upon Mr Keele lie and a number
of clerks worked the greater part of last
night completing the lists and verifying
theni according to tho original cards.

A declaration issued by the Rus
sian provisional government last
week said Russia's representatives

ment deprecated the enforcement of
the change in the rulership of
Greece, regarding interference in the
internal affairs of Greece as not permissible.
