When Miss Belmoro emerged from her
dressing room what a transformation ' Mlsi
Boley would not havo known herself. But

Miss Belmoro ployed tho part without a
rehearsal and sho never missed a cuo. Oneo
or twice she flipped a llttlo, or rather the
excelsior slipped. Readjustments seemed
necessary, only tho audience was so greatly
pleased with a waist linn that wasn't at all
that Miss Belmore, Shakespearean tragedy
queen that sho rca'ly Is, Just couldn't holp
letting the fun go on Now you wouldn't
know Miss Bclmore . she Is so different
from May Bolcv "She certainly played
