A good plan i to have the patient remain
In bed. feeding him excry two hours with a
gruel prcp.tinl from rice, barley, oatmeal
rice flakes, malted milk or malted nuts. The
gruel should be of the consistency of thick
cream ; It should contain no salt and should
bo given cold.
After the first two days the amount may
ho Increased a tablepoonful a day, until
