DECLARE SPECIAL DIVIDENDS
IJOSTON, April 13, Acushnet Mills- have
declared a 6 per cent dividend from sur
plus, payable to stockholders of record
March 12. This will Increase capital from
$1,000,000 to $1.500,000.
The Hatcaway Manufacturing Company
declared a 100 per cent stock dividend, pay
able to shareholders of record March 1Q.
Capital Is thereby Increased from $800,000
to $1,600,000,
NEW YORK. April 13. The, American
Glue Company has declared an extra dlvl-'
dend of $2 per share on the common stock,
also the regular semiannual dividend of $3
per' share. Dividends are payable May 1

Exchange fell to tho smallest proportions In
many days. Only about half tho number,
of Mocks which sold yesterday made their

Tho smaller turnover In stocks was ac
companied by narrow prlco movements,
stocks cither holding unchanged or a frac
