The Nexv Atlantic Station de Luxe,
Broad Street and Northeast Boulevard
Open for business Saturday, April Fourteenth. Situate .on the "L"
formed by the junction of North Broad street and the Northeast Boule
vard, directly on the Lincoln Highway, this new service station de luxe
supplies a long-felt need of Philadelphia motorists, and, in fact, all motor
ists passing between New York and San Francisco or to points en route.
The new Atlantic station is vastly more than a place to drive in for gas, oil
or air it is
A Notable Contribution to Philadelphia Architecture
The main display building, shown at the ex
treme left pf the above etching is 29 feet long and
15 feet wide. Just under the dome are" 12. art
panels, done in ornamental colored glass.
nEach panel depicts some use of gasoline auto
mobiles, motorcycles, motor boats, motor trucks,
etc. vThe display building occupies a command
ing position in the car-court, which is paved with
Atlantic Asphalt.
At the east end of the car-court, and radial with
the main display building, is the equipment build
ing, laid out in segment form, and faced with a
reproduction of the now-famous Atlantic Gaso
line bulletin board, done in art tile.

Two driveways measure 100 feet long by 18 feet
wide. The main filling space is 240 feet long and
92 feet wide. Seventeen individual filling stations
are spaced around the driveways.
Eam filling station contains a gasqline
meter and a source of compressed air,
which latter is furnished free in any quan
tity at any time of day or night. For the
new station is to be open always, with
specialists in attendance day and night.
The entire station covers a little over a half-acre
of space.
Out in the center of the car court is an oil-filling
station. Here you can get,Atlantic Motor Oils
Atlantic Light, Atlantic Medium, Atlantic Heavy
and Atlantic Polarine the famous oils that "Keep
Upkeep DOWN."
On this little "island" are also faucets for Ray
olight Oil for all kerosene uses, and alcohol to put
into car radiators in winter time to help guard
against freezing in water-cooled cars and trucks.
There will be absolutely no waiting.' The new
station can accommodate cars and trucks as fast as
they can drive up. There is plenty of room for
everybody. v v
Drive around to Broad street and the Boulevard
