-Street 'Curb again today, with various groups showing moderate losses while

NEW YORK Call money opened lending
and renewing. 2t per cent: high, 2i; low,

On the week time money Is lower to
tho extent of Vi per cent In the asking
figures for 60 and 90 days and In the bid
for six months. The reductions apply
equally to mixed and Industrial loans, but
there' Is little or no business at present in
the shorter maturities on mixed loans. Quo
tations are 3 & Sf 3 per cent for 00 and
90 days and 3 4T4 per cent for four, five
and six months. Industrial loans rule about
i per cent higher.
Prime mercantile paper, which last week
was firmer ln New York than In the coun
try sections. Is now relatively easier. Some
transactions have been reported In extra
choice paper a shade under 4 per cent,
but that rate Is the aerago minimum. For
less strictly gilt-edged material 1U per
cent Is quoted.
Dealings ill prime bank acceptances,
which were fairly active recently, have
narrowed down considerably of late. Rates
are quoted as follows; Kllglble member
bank acceptances. 2 Tift 3 per cent; nun
ellglbles. 3(&3U per cent.
