Fidelity Assembly had n real live meeting and
Initiated six candidates, the buttons being pre
sented by Mtother Alexander Johnson, tho new
deputy, from Clermantown Assembly, whose serv
ices Indicated an officer of high fraternal char-,
neter, and Fidelity felt so highly honored and
appreciative that a basket or flouern un nm.

lege of serving on committees of the assembly

M. F.. M. A. Jordan was present, but owing
to the obvious deterrent of assisting in consum
ing a bountiful repast ho was excused from
speaking. An apprqprlate memorial ceremony
was obsjrved for the late Brothers Hamilton
and H. F. Oloss. The producers of Fidelity
will be banqueted by nonproducers.
An official visitation wns made by tho Most
Excellent officers to Apollo Assembly. There
was a fair turnout of tho members nnd two
new members were received. The Apollo Orches
tra plaseil an important part in the entertain
ment of the evening.
Deputy niwood ltubbs found his way Into the
ncod graces of the members of Northwestern
Assembly, which met at Totem Hall. Twentv
sixth street nnd Columbia avenue. Dr. II. H.
l.ott. the former deputy, wns on hand to extend
Ills good wishes to his successor and promised
co operation to make this year the best North
western has ever experienced. The initiatory
work performed by Inspector Wood before a class
of three candidates was of a very high charac
ter. This assembly will entertain Its ladles
on .Saturday, March 31, at Athletic Tark, Twen
t -seventh and Jefferson streets.
