The mood of the Street had been bearish since the beginning of tho week, leaving tho market without much buying power, nnd long before the opening today selling orders poured Into the commission houses In an absolute flood Tho amount of these orders, In fact, was so large that specialists i of used to accept selling orders for some time before the' opening.
