excessive by Congressman Scott, ale an in
crease of fifteen per cent In wages for nil
pieceworkers, increase of (1 to $2 to sal

mum salary to cutters to grade from 127 GO'
to $12 a week
The members of the arbitration board. In
addition to Mayor Smith, are Judge John
M Patterson. Director William Wilson,
George W Ilaney and Dr. Nr. L. Stone, of

United States tariff board . The board Is ex

Congressman Scott Insisted that the man-
ufacturers could not accede to the demands
without continuing business at a financial
