Finally Marlon arrived with the chiffon,
nnd from It we cut the bodice mid sleeves.
Tho bodice Is rather plain and fastens at the
back. I embroidered the trout and back
with tarnished gold threads, and Mrs. Field
ing lined tho lower part with llcih-plnk
satin
The gold embroidery was so elfecllve that
t added a motif to each shoulder anil
trimmed the sleeves to harmonize. Mrs.
Fielding gathered the sleeve Into tight
wristbands of chiffon and added circular
frills that fall well over the bauds 1 sewed
the slceM'S Into the iioimal :tunhoIa"i and
finished the rounded neckline with narrow
tarnished gold braid.
