ber of Commcrco no Indorsing irresponsible

of Commcrco has given no authority to nny
of Its odlcers to Indorso or to encourago the
exploitation or financing of nny enterprise
whatever, and upon Investigation tho exec
utive commlttco was satisfied that the In
dustrial secretary had been Indiscreet In
ubjcctlng tho Chamber of Commerce to
criticisms for such alleged Improper activ
ities, It was unanimously agreed to request
bis resignation.

tee relating to the resignation of thn secre

A meeting of tho publicity commlttco of
the Chamber of Commcrco has been called
for today nt 3p. m. to discuss the causes
of Mr. Copo's dismissal. In discharging

sult with tho publicity committee, tho cus
tomary procedure, and so far ns enn bo
learned, It has not yet notified mat body of
