HOB sho won another prlzo of (3000 In a
competition conducted by tho New York
Herald with her "Sprightly Ilomnnco of
Mar sac," which afterward was drnmntl7ed.
With a short story, "John Mnlnwnrlng, Fi
nancier," sho won 31000 In another compe
tition of tho Now York Ilorald.
Charles G. Marshall
An Illness of two weeks ended yester
day In tha death, at his home, 1704 Cayuga
treet, of Charloi a. Marshall, Civil War
veteran and for fifty years an employe of
tho Liberty Stovo Works. Ho served during
tho war with the Twentieth Pennsylvania
Volunteers and wns a member of tho Order
of Odd Fellows. Ono daughter and a son
survive him.
