FARMER gMITH'S RAINBOW CLUB
WW AT TTAVFi YOTT DONE?
My own dear Children When you are trying ttf do right in this world,
when you are trying to HELP some one, the path is not always easy to tread.
Many persons may ask you, "What has your club done"
Today I want to tell you of ONE thing your club has done. Tell this little
story to those who ask what your club has done:
When the club was first started the club news fell under the eye of a boy
whose days were anguish and whose nighta were long hour of suffering.
He liked the club news. '
To look forward to it made him FORGET the pain. To read the stories
and news made him happy. Ho wrote a story which was published. Surely
life became brighter for ONE member of our club.
The days and nights went by, and at length the white angel came and
took' the little boy's hand and they went away to that land where there is no
night nor suffering nor pain.
Perhaps we have made hundreds, yes, thousands, of children happy, but
let us say to those who ask, "What has your club done?"
"We made ONE CHILD happy."
Is not that something.
