situation and the scorolty ot merchandise

facturer have a large volume of business,
hut are not making prompt deliveries.
They, too, are somewhat affected by the
scarcity of help.

firm. Wholesalers and Jobbers of dry
soods. cotton goods, etc. state that there

derwear and notions have had a good fall
and winter business and there continues a
scarcity of certain trade of merchandise.
