Aid for Jews in Rumania
NEW TOItK. Sept. 28. The provisional
executive committee for General Zionist
affairs has made arrangements for the
organization of a committee In Rumania to
have charge of the distribution of money
sent by American Jews to their relatives in
that country. The American committee has
so far transmitted more than a million dol
lars to war zone victims.
Man Dies in Home by Gas
John S. Selgrath, of 2043 South Beech
wood street, was found dead in the bath
room of his home last night with the gas
turned on. Segrath, according to the
police, had been ill, and they think he
committed suicide.
Funeral of Doctor Moore
The funeral of Dr. William D. Moore,
forty-nine years old, who died yesterday,
will be held Friday afternoon at his resl-

Doctor Moore was a graduate of the Phila
delphia College of Pharmacy and the Med
leaf School of the University of Pennsyl

Lancaster County, and the mother of two
well-known Philadelphia physicians, who

mother of Dr. Jchn B. Deaver. Mrs. Deaver
