American Malt Company Sells Plant
NOV YORK. Aug. 7. It was announced
at the offices of the American Malting Com
pany, that the New York plant, at Aienue A
and Sixty-fourth street, has been sold to
George Khret for approximately f600,000
cash. Changing conditions in the manu
facture of malt are said to haia prompted
tho owners to sell. This sale Is the second
step In the plan of the directors to dispose
of unprofitable properties owned by the
company.
