This opinion followed the Important buK
safte car and mall car decisions of yester
day, In which It was decided that all bflB

on the rear of trains must have platforms
as wide as the law provides, nnd two oth
ers of lesser Importance. These cases had
been beforo tho commission for months
and had been vigorously contested by both
sides. In all, six complaints wero sus
tained and four dismissed In the opinions
handed down at this tlmo.
Commissioner Ryan decides that tho

Pittsburgh and Lake Krlo is a switching
movement, and, therefore, does not como
under the act, and tho effort to nmko this
a "full crew" violation Is dismissed. Yard
crews may be employed nnd may be paid
on a different basis. It Is said tho decision

day In a newspaper advertisement as fol

himself Into slavery for his keep. I

Schilling said ha was convinced the world
was against him and decided upon the slav
ery idea so he could be assured of food.
Esther Lipschutz
Miss Esther Lipschutz, 17 years old, the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Lip
schutz, of 2035 North 33d street, who had
been Buffering from heart dlseaso for somo
time, died Wednesday night In the Eden
Apartments; Iowa avenuo and the Board
walk. Atlantic City, whero sho had been
taken bIx months ago for the benefit of her
health. The funeral services will be held
tomorrow, morning, conducted by tho, Rev.
IJenry M. Fisher. The body will be brought
to the Har Nebo Cemetery for burial, and
services will bo conducted thero at noon by
tho Rev. Marvin Nathan, of Bath Israel
Synagogue. '
