street He was In his B2d year.
Mr Bertolet. who waB president of tho
Andreykovlca & Dunk Company, dealers In
dyesmnd chemicals, with olllceg at 68 North
Front street, was stricken with heart dis
ease while walking on Chestnut street last
Thursday. He had recovered sufficiently to
be able to attend scrlces on Sunday at
Christ's Unitarian Hvangcllcal Church, 12th
and Oxford streets Yesterday, however,
he had a relapso and his death follow id.
He was a member of the old Hertolet
family and was a descendant of Jean Her
tolet, who settled In Bucks County In 172C
Ills father was PJzra Bertolet Mr. Berto
let was born In Welsport. Bucks County,
and cams to Philadelphia ns n boy to enter

dent and owner ho later became
He had been a resident of Tioga since
1804. He was a trustee of Albright Col
lege, director of tho Pcrkaslo Park Asso
ciation, president of tho Westmoreland
Building and Loan Association, of Tioga;
member of the Union League, tho Pennsyl
vania Historical Society and the Histori
cal Society of-Montgomcry County He also
was prominent in Masonic circles and ut tho
time, of his death was a member of the
lllchard Vaux Lodge. No 384. F and A. M ,
and Orlcntnl Boyal Arch Chapter. No 1S3.
He was also a member of tho Koyal Ar
canum. He leaves a wifo and two children
