as the proverbial Dutch kitchen during tho

SETS ASIDE $2500 VERDICT
New Trial Result of Charges of At
tempted Bribery
Judge Lloyd ln tho Camden Circuit Court
today set aside a verdict of $2500 nnd
granted n motion for a new trial In tho
case of William Costello against the Atlan
tic City It.illro.id Company. The action
follows tho dlsclmrgo of tho entire -panel of
"0 Jurors on May 25 nnd charges by Pros
ecutor Krnft that resulted In the nrrest
of Joseph White, a Juryman, and Costello,
both of whom llvo In Gloucester, on charges
of embracery and bribery. Both men were
held under 52000 ball.
A verdict ln Costcllo's favor had been
leturned on tho preceding day, the caso
growing out of an accident at Gloucester
City. Ono of the Jurymen Informed Pros
ecutor Kraft that Whlto had approached
him prior to tho disposition of the case
nnd tried to inlluenco him favorably to
Costcllo's claim.
