streets, on next Thursday, Friday nnd Sat
urday nights, for tho benefit of tho Cathe
dral parish school. Tho rector of the
church, tho Rev. Francis J. Clark, nnd his
three assistants, tho Rev. Joseph M. Mc

Rev. Joseph M. O'Hara, are promoting- tho
artalr with tho aid of 200 members of the
various societies connected with tho Catno;
dral.
Tho fete Is expected to yield something
more than J5000 If the weather Is tine. En
thusiasm shown by tho aides at several
meetings held In tho last few weeks Is more
keen than during plans for previous lawn
festivals. Last year about S3000 was raised.
Tho flag from Mrs. Wilson will be sold
to tho person who bids the Inrgest sum for
It when It Is offered on Saturday night. It
Is handsomely embroidered and Is attached
to a pure ebony staff. Mrs. Wilson sent It
last week.
An outdoor restaurant will be one of tho
features of the fete. Refreshments will bo
served at Individual tables topped by dainty
canopies surronnded by tiny electric
lights. The volunteer waitresses will be at
tired In dainty uniform gowns. Other at
tractions will Include the popular automo
bile rides for tho children and a continuous
.vaudeville entertainment. Sister Lllzabeth,
of the Cathedral Day Nursery, will super
vise a booth where religious goods will be
