swore old Brads, moro thnn 80 years out
of the classroom, came back to tho Penn
sylvania Stato College today and joined
hundreds of the younger Graduates In tlio
celebration of alumni day. They camo from
M far "West as California, and from Florida
In tho South. Classrooms, and even room
mates, who had been completely out of
touch for a "half century, were reunited In
tho campus with touching scenes of affec
tion. Most of tho older alumni had not seen
Fenn State slnco tho days of her regenera
tion. As they rostod undor tho big tent
set aside for tho grads, 'tho men who went
out from State College In the eafly sixties'
marveled at tho transformation of the
campus and Its surroundings. When they
were students hero there was only ono

Today thoy counted 34 buildings and saw
the comprehensive plans that provide for
further development of tho coltogo property
so that It will measure up to the demands
of a student body of 3000.

commencement festivities taught them tho

Arrayed In costumes of brilliant hues the
reunion classes of '86, '36, '06, '11 paraded
tho campus and village today.
Festivities and exorcises of the week,
which began on Friday, were continued to
day with tho annual meeting of tho board
of trustees, the Junior oratorical contest,
a track and flold meet with tho University
of Pittsburgh, a baseball game with the
same Institution and class day exercises on
the front campus.
