"Toy Day" at Woodside Park
Woodstde Park hns a new one. It's "Toy
day." On Saturday, Juno 3, from noon until
3 o'clock, all the children within the gates
of the West Philadelphia amusement place
will bo so busy hunting for hidden treasures
that they won't notice even tho scenla rail
way. For the management announces that
lt will hide seieral hundred coupons In dif
ferent parts of the ground. Those coupons
will be numbered, and each child finding one
will receive a toy. These toys range from
dolls and baseballs to Teddy bears and other
attractive novelties. The coupons will be
distributed indiscriminately, but nono of
them will be hidden in buildings or amuse
ment devices. On the completion of the hunt
the prizes will be awarded to the lucky find
era of the coupons.
Friday is Still Fireworks Night. Director
Bohumlr Kryl, of the Woodside Band, varies
his conducting every now and then with a
bit of solo work.

rangement is that, for tho purposo of the
work, tho Austrian hymn Is constantly
drowned under tho harmonies of the Italian
