To Increase Greene Cananca Copper Co. Dividend
At tho Apt 11 meeting of tho directors of the Greene Cnnnnea Copper Com
pany the dividend on tho stock will be Increased from the present annual tato
of ?4 per share to probably $G per share. Tills has been lrtmill decided upon
by tho officials of the company because of tin- record output and the high prices
being received for coppe: metal. It Is learned that the earnings of the com
pany In February were equal to neatly 2 per cent, on the outstanding capital
of $50,000,000.

Steel Kail Orders Placed
An order for about 45,000 tons of steel lolls has been placed by the Louis
ville and Nashville Railroad with the Tennrssee Co.il and Iron Company. The
Chicago Great "Western has placed an order with tho Illinois Steel Company for
10,000 ton3 of rails. Other small loads have placed oonttnrts for quite a sub
stantial total of rail for delivery during the last quarter of this jear and
the first quarter of next year with several steel companies.
Prices of Screws Advanced 10 Per Cent.
PITTSBURGH, March S. Lending manufacturers In Western I'ennsjlvnnla
have raised their pi ices for screws 10 per cent. It la understood that quotations
for nuts, bolts nnd rivets will be marked up $2 a ton next week.

the foreign exchdnge market at the open
Ins was a new low record for relchsmarks
at 72 I3.16S72 15-16 The last previous
low record was In January. 72T. The
course of the market for German exchange
caused expectations of a still lower rec
ord with the progress of the day. All
sorts of explanations are attempted for the
decline In relchsmarks, but the true In
wardness of the movement Is withheld by
the Interests concerned
The general market vvas dull and with
out special feature, Quotations follow:

The Zinc Concentrating Company has purchased and
owns all the patents, rights and contracts relating to the
"Campbell System of Magnetic Separation of Zinc, Iron
Sulphide Ores." This process has been developed by actual
use commercially until today it is admitted by scientists
and metallurgists to be one of the most important develop
ments in the treatment of zinc, iron-sulphide ores, ranking,
in relation to those ores, with, the oil flotation process.

The Zinc Concentrating Company owns fundamental patents
covering the Etherington-Singer Non-Oxidizing Roaster and the
Camphell Zinc-Iron Separator. These patents control the "Camp
bell System," which is the only one giving satisfactory results to
tho producers of zinc-iron sulphide ores. This process is producing
the highest known recovery of metallic values at the lowest operat
ing costs.
In order to furnish the Company with additional capital required
by increasing business wc have purchased a large block of its stock,
a considerable portion of which has already been placed with our
customers and the friends of the management.
We offer the unsold portion at $3.75 per share (Par Value $ 1 0.)
