and "Tho Theft of Thistledown," with a
musical program arranged by Mrs. Fred
erick C. Ncwbourg, Jr., for the benefit
of tho Baby Saving Fund. Tho plot of
these pleasing little playlets, composed
especially for last year's Baby Saving
Week In Pittsburgh, tho pictures of which
appeared In nn Issue of tho Ladles' Homo

to further tho interest of Baby Saving

both plays. "Tho Narrow Door," which
symbolized the door of death through

the part of Thistledown, Sllss Eleanor
Gehmnnn was the Fairy Queen, Sllss Anna
Rlghtncr the Nurse nnd the others In the
play were Sllss Virginia Getty, Sllss Lois
Caley, Sllss Helen Slaymaker, Sllss Char
lotte Donaldson, Sllss Jennnctte Parry,

worn In both "The Narrow Door" and tho

In the ballroom of tho Bellcvue-Strntford,
wns a great success. The dancing wns

by Mr nnd Mis. John P. Connelly and the
Mayor nnd Sirs. Smith.

orated with trailing vines, carnation's and

of a lattice of palms and vines on a raised
