The guests marveled nt tho appoint
ments and construction of tho theatre,
which was designed nnd built by experts.
At nny time 1000 persons can be taken
care of comfortably, every ono having
a Hear view of the screen. This Is un
usual In tho general urn ot motion pic
ture theatres, and the result Is obtained
by tho scientific slopo of the floor nnd
the seating nirangements.
Special attention was paid to tho In
terior work of the theatre. Tho walls
nro beautifully panelled In old rose and
mulberry efTccts of satin damask with
borders of Ivory, having ns bas-reliefs
columns In t opt mentation of Caen stone
and Roman gold. The scats are luxurious
ones of Clrnsslan walnut, upholstered in
Spanish leather. All the doors nnd exits
aro hung with old ioso and mulberry
damask draperies.
Every one voted the house as ono of
the llnest In the city and second to none
In point of ncccssorlcs.
In planning the home tho projection
was glcn first consideration and tho
beautiful, brilliant nnd flickcrless ple
nties shown on tho screen revealed tho
wonderful possibilities of motion pho
