There were setbacks of 6 to 7 points from tho best during tho second hour, but prices steadied up nguln around mid day on New Orleans buyimj. This bulne carried prices back to about tho high point of the morning. Liverpool bought a. good deal of July cotton here, but was a seller of Octoher. Southern spot news waa again conflicting. The receipts of cotton at the ports for the day were estimated at 25,000 bales, -ompared with 39,444 bales Inst week, M.79S baloa last year and 55.51S bales in 1914.
