John Christopher Schwab, one of the

today of pneumonia. He was 60 years

ship, which he resigned in 1M3 to be
come university librarian.

Mrs. I N, Anshutz, widow of John P,
,-Anshutz, died yesterday at her home,
30S3 Arch street. Sho was 78 years old.
She had not been told of the death of her
brother. William H. Miller, an importer,
of ,17th and Chestnut streets, and her
death occurred Just as the funeral was
being held from the Arch street home.
Mrs. Anshutz had been ill for 15 years.
Before that she had been active In char-
cltable work, having endowed beds at the
Medlco-Chlrurglcal, Presbyterian and
- Pennsylvania Hospitals,
