extended over a period ot 60 ears His

Subsequently he was associated with
Mellor, Halns & Mellor and Vanncman A
Co.
Mr Frnley was one of the original
members of tho Ucpubllcan InUnclbles, a
marching club organbed In 1SG0 in sup
port of the candidacy ot Abraham Lin
coln Ho was prominent as a churchman nnd
was president of the class of 1S33 ot
tho CcntrnI High School For a long
period ho served as president of the
nlmnnl of the Central High School. Ho
was superintendent of tho Hundny school
of tho Temple Ilaptlst Church for 22
J ears, and wis treasurer of the congre
gation until he resigned, two weeks ago.
Ho vvns also president of tho board of
trustees of tho church. For a long prlod

and for 20 yeais was connected with tho

tho late Thomas J. Ilyan, one of his old
est friends, Mr. Fltzpntrlck enteied the
field of politics. He was elected a Mag
istrate In Germantovvn, where he held
hearings for 14 jears, at 9 Cast Cheltcn
nvenue. He was also leader of tho Demo
crats In his ward Two onts ago ho
was appointed n tipstaff in the Municipal
Court, under Judge Ilrown
