found the wares purchasable. Tho
most unique, feature, of tho afternoon
was the Juvenile fashion parade, held
In the rotunda adjoining the ballroom,

appeared, all tosRed out In tho very
latest made for tho boncllt of their ad
miring elders. Their turn consisted In
marching bol'dly up to n curtain, on
which hung the picture of a crying
baby, and trying to place a bottle In

her sturdy "big" brother, Sidney, the
adorable children of Mrs. Sidney F.
Tyler Hrock, caused a ilpple of amuse
ment when they posed for a photograph.
Virginia's treble voice was heard to ex
claim. "He won't let mo hold Vila
hand," whereupon Master Sidney was
properly rebuked and tho picture
mapped Indeed, tho little girl was so
entertained by tho whole proceeding
that she wanted tho flash to "do it
over again."

an amateur cabaret show ond danco,
which was one of the most original and
auccessful novelties of tho season. A
wide spaco cleared between tho tables
on the bannuot floor of tho Ritz was
the stage for tho presentation of the
fihojv, with Its solo dances, song num
bers, trick piano playing, Its balloon
" ballet and Its danco sets nrranged and
' carried out by members of tho younger
social set.
The balloon ballet, with its hnlf
dozen girls costumed In black, with
black masks and bluck balloons, wns
